Dakotah's Worth the Wait
"Lucy"
Lucy's first major win at 8 months of age. Shown by Karlee Howard.
Lucy came to us from Rick and Kay Farris of Dakotah Wirehaired Pointing Griffons in Sioux Falls, SD. We affectionately call Lucy "the adopted sister." It has been alot of fun learning and experiencing this breed. Lucy loves to hunt and loves her family. She is not happy unless she is right by your side. Her hunting style is similar to the Brittany. This summer she took her NAVHDA Natural Ability test achieving a Prize I with a perfect score of 112. Special thanks to Rick Farris. Showing her has been a bit of a challenge as there are not many WPG's around so we travel. She has earned 8 points and one of her majors toward her AKC Championship.
This girl has passed three legs of her Junior Hunt Title and only needs one more. Lucy adds variety around here.
Lucy is a tenacious, mid-range hunter with great nose and natural instincts. She is a versatile hunter that does a great job trailing birds, holding solid on point and loves the water.
